Students of the Assyrian Language school in Krasnodar, Russia (Assyrian Church of the East), performing at the International Mother Language Day, which is celebrated on 21 February.

Dedicated to the memory of all our veterans! About 2500 Assyrians of the former Soviet Union took part in the Second World War during 1941-45, and half of them did not return home. Many of these men received different types of medals and two of them received medial “Hero of Soviet Union” the most respected medial made of Gold.

The student of the Assyrian language school of Krasnodar in Russia, Alexey Abramov, is performing the famous poem “Ya nishra d’tkhoma” by the Assyrian legend Fraydon Atouraya. It is worth to mention that Alexey’s father is Assyrian and his mother is Russian.
