Assyrian Martyr’s Day 2021.

7th of August is the Assyrian Martyrs day. Hagyana Atouraya has planned a special program for remembrance and respect for our Martyrs. We have invited academics, writer, poets, singers, and other artists to participate on commemoration of our respected martyrs.

Assyrians in the Second World War.

Dedicated to the memory of all our veterans! About 2500 Assyrians of the former Soviet Union took part in the Second World War during 1941-45, and half of them did not return home. Many of these men received different types of medals and two of them received medial “Hero of Soviet Union” the most respected medial made of Gold.

Commemoration of the Assyrian Marttyr’s Day 2019 was arranged by the Assyrian associations Babylon and Turabdin in Jönköpin, Sweden. In this part, the Assyrian poet and writer Rabi Michael Mammoo is performing one of his poems.
